Asphalt work continues Monday in downtown Bartlesville with the last portions of the Frank Phillips overlay project.
Contract crews have completed the asphalt overlay on Frank Phillips Boulevard from the railroad tracks to Cherokee Avenue and are now working on side streets in the downtown area.
Lane closures should be expected during this portion of the project, anticipated to be complete this week.
Once the asphalt work has been completed, street striping will begin. The project is expected to be complete by mid-week.
“If you are able to utilize alternate routes during this time, we encourage you to do so,” said Terry Lauritsen, director of Engineering.
