The Bartlesville Parks and Recreation Department provides life-long, accessible recreation experiences to its citizens. The Department strives to be a good steward of resources, while emphasizing quality experiences that provide community health and inclusiveness for all.
The City of Bartlesville Doenges Memorial Stadium will host the 2013 AABC (American Amateur Baseball Congress) Sandy Koufax World SeriesTournament on August 1, 2, 3, and 4. The tournament will host 14-and-under baseball teams from as far away as Puerto Rico, including one local team, all vying for the division's top title. Make plans to come out to the historic Bill Doenges memorial Stadium in Downtown Bartlesville to enjoy some of the best that amateur youth baseball has to offer. A $25.00 session pass for all fourteen games can be purchased online here.
Sooner and Frontier Swimming Pools will CLOSE for the season at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10.
A dog swimming party, aspecial fundraiser for Bartlesville's Cooper Dog Park, will be held on Sunday, August 11 at Frontier Swimming Pool. Bring your canine companions to Frontier Pool between 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m. for a cool afternoon in the pool. Admission is a donation of $5.00.
