The City of Bartlesville offers clean-up programs for city residents during the spring and fall. When clean up dates are scheduled, they will be announced on this website and in area media.
During this time, Bartlesville residents may present a current City of Bartlesville water bill receipt at the Osage Landfill, which will allow them to dispose of unwanted goods.
Residential customers may take unwanted items to Osage Landfill from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday during the one-week period.
Customers can transport their debris in a single personal vehicle or vehicle/trailer combination. No commercial vehicles are allowed. There will be no disposal fee to City of Bartlesville residential customers; however, customers must live within city limits and have a current City of Bartlesville water bill receipt to present to the landfill attendant. Customers may make more than one trip to the landfill.
Compressors in appliances must be removed before disposal. The compressor can also be disposed if it is removed. Contact a licensed refrigerant technician for removal.
Items not accepted include tires, batteries, hazardous material, wet paint, appliances that have not had compressors removed (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners) and demolished structures. The appliance must be certified Freon-free if compressor is not removed.
Customers may choose to unload debris at a city-staffed dump site just inside the landfill or take their debris onto the fill area.
