CityRide offers ‘2 for 1 days,’ other programs

On Tuesdays in April, CityRide — the City of Bartlesville’s public transit system — is offering “Two For One Days” during the hours of 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. On these days, two riders with the same origination and destination can ride one-way for $3.

The promotion is for rides within the city limits of Bartlesville only, and a 48-hour notice is requested.

Other programs available to Washington County riders on an on-going basis include WorkRide and Cherokee Nation. WorkRide provides a reduced rate for those workers who self-certify meeting 150 percent of annual poverty income rates. Fare for eligible WorkRide participants is $2 for each one-way trip.

Additionally, Cherokee Nation contracts with the transit program to provide rides to CDIB card holders. Cost for eligible riders is 50 cents for each one-way trip within the Cherokee Nation area. A 72-hour notice is required for scheduling, which is subject to availability. Eligible participants must display their CDIB card to each transit driver at boarding.
