Known as Joseph's Coat, this secular/non-secular collaboration will provide free paint and volunteer labor to income-qualified seniors and disabled persons who need help painting their homes.
Accoring to Community Development Director, Lisa Beeman, the City's Neighborhood Services Division continually runs into problems with citizens needing to paint their homes. 'If you aren't physically capable of painting your own house, then you've got to hire a contractor to do it, and it is not a cheap venture,' Beeman said.
Through the Joseph's Coat program, teams of caring community citizens can make a big difference in the lives of needy individuals, while helping
to beautify Bartlesville's neighborhoods.
