Public meeting set for Tower Green project

June 4, 2018
The Tower Green Design Committee will hold a special town hall meeting on June 14 to receive public input on the development of the voter-approved Tower Green gathering space set for construction in Downtown Bartlesville.
The meeting will be held 5-6:30 p.m. at the Bartlesville Community Center, 300 S.E. Adams Blvd.
The committee was established and appointed by the Bartlesville City Council following the March 6 General Obligation Bond Election when voters approved funding for several projects including $1.7 million for the construction of a public gathering space on Sixth Street, to be located between the Price Tower and the Bartlesville Community Center.
The committee is tasked with gathering input on how to best shape the gathering space, selecting a design plan and amenities for the project and then presenting the plan and product recommendations to the City Council for final consideration. Members include City Councilors Alan Gentges and Jim Curd, Brad Doenges, Maria Gus, Annah Fischer, Shelby Brammer and Jay Webster.
The town hall meeting will be held in the BCC’s Community Hall. All residents are invited and encouraged to attend and share their ideas and thoughts for the use, design, and development of this important community space.
