Contract crews work on removing the Tuxedo Bridge deck over the Caney River. Traffic over the bridge has been reduced to one lane for each direction on the eastbound bridge. “The contractor is removing the deck on Tuxedo bridge now,” Siemers said. “The project should conclude by summer of 2025, but the contractor is hoping for an earlier completion, weather permitting,” said Director of Engineering Micah Siemers. Pathfinder will be closed under the bridge for the duration of the project. The project consists of a full deck replacement of the westbound bridge.
