Sooner and Frontier swimming pools will open for the season this Saturday, May 24.
Though owned by the City of Bartlesville, both pools are managed and operated by the Richard Kane YMCA.
Here’s some information you might need, from the YMCA:
- In the event of a delayed opening, early closure or closure for the day, the YMCA will post on their Facebook page – stories https://www.facebook.com/RichardKaneYMCA/ and on their website, https://www.rkymca.org/OutdoorPools
- In the event of lightning or weather conditions that reduce visibility or compromise patron safety, staff will clear the pool. The pool will remain closed for at least 30 minutes after the last observed lightning strike or until visibility and safety conditions improve.
- No one 13 and under will be permitted without adult (18+) supervision.
