City of Bartlesville offices will be closed Jan. 1, 2016, for New Year holiday, and alternate trash collection dates will be implemented during the holiday week.
Sanitation crews will run Thursday routes on Dec. 31 as regularly scheduled, but customers who normally have their trash collected on Fridays will be serviced on Wednesday during those weeks, Dec. 30.
“Wednesday is the alternate collection day for customers whose regular day falls on a holiday,” said Nancy Moody, senior administrative assistant for the Public Works Department.
Police and fire services will continue with no disruption.
Offices will reopen Monday, Jan. 4, following New Year’s Day, as scheduled.
