Bartlesville Police Department’s Spring 2025 Citizens Police Academy starts March 27, and the deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on March 10, BPD announced this week.
The Police Department is accepting applications for its next academy, which will run from March 27 to May 5. Classes are held 6-9 p.m. every Thursday.
“Anyone who is interested in attending this academy should sign up as soon as possible,” said Police Chief Kevin Ickleberry. “We are limiting the class to 20 people, and it will fill up fast.”
Participants will learn about the department, police procedures, services and operations, the K-9 program, the Special Operations Team, police officer training and academy, the School Resource Officer program, and much more.
“Participants will get a first-hand experience of the operations of the Bartlesville Police Department in hopes of creating a better understanding of how the department serves the community,” said Ickleberry.
To apply, complete the application. Participants MUST be 21 years of age.
