The Bartlesville Area History Museum continues its Third Thursday series with an event planned for Jan. 20, when visitors to the museum can hear a special lecture on the Bartlesville’s Interurban Railway from Rudy Geissler. While parents are listening to the lecture, kids can enjoy a fun trolley themed coloring station.
Light refreshments will be served. The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m., but the museum will be open from 6-8 p.m. to allow the public to enjoy the main gallery and the special exhibit “End of the Line: The Short History of Bartlesville’s Interurban Railway.”
Museum entry is free, but donations are accepted. For more information, contact the museum at 918.338.4290 or history@cityofbartlesville.org. The museum is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located on the fifth floor of City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave.
