The City of Bartlesville is joining the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary by displaying banners throughout the city helping to commemorate the founding of the country.
Bartlesville’s America 250 banners will be displayed at major intersections throughout the city, along with several additional high-visibility locations, so residents and visitors will see this celebration woven into the community all year long.
“Our goal is to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States in a way that feels visible, welcoming, and distinctly Bartlesville,” said Community Development Director Larry Curtis, who is overseeing the project.
“By keeping the banners up throughout the year, we’re creating a year-round reminder of our shared history, civic pride, and the community spirit that makes Bartlesville such a special place to live, work, and visit.”
The banners are being installed this week and will remain in place for the remainder of the year.
