The Bartlesville Police Department will honor fallen officers during its annual Officer Memorial Day Ceremony on May 13.
The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Public Safety Complex, located at 615 S. Johnstone Ave.
“The ceremony is dedicated to remembering and honoring the brave men and women of law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty,” said Deputy Police Chief Andrew Ward.
The ceremony will include a moment of silence, remarks from department officials and community leaders, and the ceremonial laying of a wreath.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Community members, families of fallen officers and representatives from neighboring agencies are all welcome to join in paying respects.
