The City Council on Monday approved recommendations by the Bartlesville Development Authority for development assistance for three Bartlesville businesses — Bob Loftis Furniture, Wright Steakhouse, and LOVE 66 Bistro.
The council approved a $40,800 incentive for Bob Loftis Furniture to be utilized for building improvements at 4125 Nowata Road.
“Bob Loftis Furniture is expanding to a new location for their furniture sales in Bartlesville,” BDA Vice President of Business Development Chris Batchelder said in a report to the council last week. “Sleep and recliner sales will continue to be located at the Highway 75 location between Chili’s and Freddy’s. The new furniture location will be the old Examiner-Enterprise building, located at 4125 Nowata Road.”
Batchelder said the company expects to be open this summer.
“This incentive funding will provide critical financial assistance to fund the purchase of an inventory rack system and lighting for the new location that will help make their opening possible,” he said.
The council also approved a $53,366 incentive to Wright Steak steakhouse and $34,729 in assistance to LOVE 66 Bistro for building improvements. Both will be located in the Price Tower, 510 S. Dewey Ave.
Wright Steak steakhouse will be located on the top floors of the Price Tower, offering a panoramic view of Bartlesville as well as appetizers, seafood options, desserts, and a selection of wines and cocktails.
LOVE 66 Bistro is a 1960s-themed restaurant offering classic comfort foods like hearty burgers, crispy onion rings, creamy milkshakes, and savory sandwiches with a modern twist. The bistro will be located on the first floor of the Price Tower.
“The addition of Love 66 Bistro and Wright Steak steakhouse to the city of Bartlesville brings forth numerous benefits that extend beyond the local community,” Batchelder said. “These two exceptional venues will not only cater to the local audience but also tap into a regional audience, specifically targeting the 12 million people within Price Tower’s drive market.”
