Job hunters and City Beat readers may have noticed increased efforts over the past year to improve employee recruitment for City positions. The latest of these includes the production of videos intended to help draw attention to general employee positions, as well as City police and fire services.
The Human Resources Department, in conjunction with Communications, released the videos last week.
“This project is just the latest in our effort to focus very intentionally on ways to enhance employee recruitment and retention, both of which were objectives outlined in Bartlesville NEXT, the City’s organizational strategic plan,” said Assistant City Manager Laura Sanders. “We enlisted local video production company PioneerDream to help us tell our story in a way that we hope will resonate with anyone looking for a career in public service.”
The videos focuses on both general employees and the City’s unionized departments, police and fire. To view the videos, see the City’s YouTube page.
