The City offers property owners the opportunity to demolish dilapidated buildings at a reduced fee.

The Voluntary Demolition Program provides an opportunity for property owners to remove vacant, deteriorated buildings at a reduced cost and avoid nuisance actions by the City.

According to Larry Curtis, Community Development Director, this program will improve the quality of neighborhoods.

“These substandard buildings can pose a threat to the health and safety of the Bartlesville community,” Curtis said.

The program uses existing money which is already budgeted.

Participation is voluntary, and funding is limited.  Therefore, property owners are encouraged to take advantage of this program quickly.
