Johnstone Park’s smaller shelter, also known as the Diamond Jubilee Pavilion, measures 35′ x 35′. The shelter was built to commemorate Oklahoma’s 75th year of statehood, thanks to public donations, and was dedicated on the 75th anniversary on November 16, 1982.

Cost for shelter use is $12.50 for the first two hours and $7.50 for every hour after. A two-hour minimum rental is required. Payment must be received before the reservation can be made, and no phone reservations may be made without prior payment. Payments may be made on the first floor of City Hall during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
