
BFD Honor Guard
Bartlesville Fire Department Honor Guard consists of six members of the department who represent the department at various ceremonies.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Bartlesville Fire Department Honor Guard represents the highest ideals of honor, dignity, professionalism and respect in serving the agency, fire community, families, friends and co-workers of those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
HISTORY
The Honor Guard was established on Jan. 31, 2017. The purpose of this highly trained unit is, first and foremost, to appropriately pay tribute to and honor the memory of employees who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty to save lives and protect property. The Honor Guard also provides leadership in difficult times and comfort to fallen firefighters’ families and friends. The unit may also provide services at other events of community importance.
EVENT CRITERIA
The Bartlesville Fire Department Honor Guard is located at Central Fire station, 601 S. Johnstone Ave, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
