Duck blinds awarded for Hudson Lake

Sep 27, 2015

Nine duck blinds were awarded for the City of Bartlesville-owned Hudson Lake during a drawing held Oct. 23.

“We had 61 people turn out for the drawing,” said Parks Superintendent Bobby Robinson. “That’s the largest number of people we’ve ever had.”

The drawing, held at Hudson Lake, allows a limited number of hunters at the lake during duck hunting season. The fee for the duck blind is $10 for the names drawn. Each duck hunter assigned a blind must make all repairs or improvements to their blinds.  No more than 30 decoys may be used at any blind area. During duck hunting season, hunters may enter Hudson Lake one hour before shooting time, which is one-half hour before sunrise. Duck hunting ends daily at noon.
