City employees were recognized for years of service last week during a luncheon held Dec. 13 at The Center (Bartlesville Community Center). The annual event is sponsored by the City’s Human Resources Department. Employees with 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of service with the City of Bartlesville were honored.
“Your employment with the City of Bartlesville matters,” said City Manager Mike Bailey. “It matters because you could have chosen to work anywhere, yet you chose the noble path of civil service. It matters because every one of you are responsible for and dedicated to providing services that contribute to the health, wellness, and public safety of our citizens. I appreciate you, and the City of Bartlesville appreciates you. Thank you for your service.”

Water Plant Superintendent Larry Thompson, left, and Parks Department Maintenance Worker II Billy Miller were honored Tuesday for 40 years of service with the City.

Network Administrator Beth DeGeer was honored for 30 years of service with the City of Bartlesville.
