Most City offices will be closed Dec. 25-26 and Jan. 1, 2025 in recognition of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Residential trash routes will not be affected by the holidays this year, Public Works Director Keith Henry said recently.
“Because both Christmas and New Year’s Day fall on Wednesdays this year, residential customers will not be affected, as commercial accounts are serviced on Wednesdays.
Henry said commercial accounts will be serviced on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.
Sanitation crews will be on-duty and collecting as normally scheduled the day following both holidays, on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2, 2025.
Police and fire services will continue as normally scheduled with no interruption.
The City Recycle Center, which is normally open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, 2025.
City offices will re-open as normally scheduled on Friday, Dec. 27.
