The Bartlesville Kiwanis Club invites residents and visitors to join in a special Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 4, at Sooner Park. This annual community tradition will take on added significance in 2026 as the nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
This year’s event is made possible through the support of several community sponsors, including the City of Bartlesville, which is proud to help celebrate this historic milestone alongside the Kiwanis Club of Bartlesville and other local partners.
Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. with opening ceremonies at the park’s bandshell stage at 6 p.m. Throughout the evening, families can enjoy a variety of activities for children, including inflatables and a Kids Patriotic Costume Contest & Parade. A military flyover is expected at 6:30 p.m., and the celebration will conclude with a fireworks display beginning after dark. The event will end once the fireworks show has concluded.
Residents are encouraged to join the community in honoring both Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary.
