White Rose Cemetery to host ‘Mausoleum Stories’ October 23

Aug 26, 2015

Joe Sears’ Tallgrass Theatre Festival and the City of Bartlesville-owned White Rose Cemetery will present  the popular “Mausoleum Stories” on Friday, Oct. 23.

Mausoleum Stories

The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the White Rose Mausoleum, located at 804 W. 11th Street, just east of Virginia Avenue.
Mausoleum Stories features the stories of several local pioneers and residents who are interred at White Rose.  The “Guardian of the Stories” will once again be on hand to draw these early Bartlesville pioneers out from their slumber to speak about their lives and adventures.

Those portrayed will be Henry Wells, William Wayne Keeler, James H. Teel, Vivian Foster and Jane Phillips, who was entombed in the White Rose Mausoleum while the Phillips family mausoleum at Woolaroc was being constructed.

Entry is free with a wristband from the Downtown Ghost Walk or $10 at the door. Proceeds benefit the White Rose Cemetery Beautification Projects. Seating is limited.
Call the White Rose office for more information or email whiterose@cityofbartlesville.org.
