There will be no trash collection and most City offices will be closed Jan. 1 (2024) due to the New Year’s Day holiday. Monday trash routes will be serviced on Wednesday, Jan. 3, next week instead.
The recycling center, located at 10th Street and Virginia Ave., will be closed that day as well.
Police and fire services will continue as normally scheduled with no interruption. City offices will re-open as normally scheduled on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
Also, the January City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave.
