Calling all pirates, ages 5 to 12! This pirate ship was recently installed in Johnstone Park, just south of Kiddie Park, thanks to a Community Development Block Grant Small Cities Set Aside Program grant and matching City funds.
The ship is made of environmentally friendly Robinia wood, which has a high content of naturally occurring preservatives so it doesn’t have to be treated for rot in any way, and the painted features are done with environmentally friendly, water-based acrylic paint.
Access to the ship is available during regular park hours.
