Police department to host Neighborhood Watch forum

Jan 9, 2024

The Bartlesville Police Department will host a Neighborhood Watch Forum at 6 p.m. on Jan. 18, 2024, at City Hall in the Council Chambers.

“We’re trying to get as many people involved as possible,” said Police Chief Kevin Ickleberry. “We want to let people know what Neighborhood Watch looks like in neighborhoods and how we plan on utilizing the different types.”

The police department will offer information and guidance on establishing and running Neighborhood Watch programs in the community.

“The biggest thing you can do for a Neighborhood Watch program is to know your neighbor and befriend your neighbor so that you can watch out for each other,” said Ickleberry.

“And don’t be afraid to call 911 when you see something.”

Anyone who is interested in Neighborhood Watch is welcome to attend.
