Proposals submitted in response to an RFQ issued for management of the City-owned Price Fields Sports Complex are currently under review, City Manager Mike Bailey said this week.
The City issued the RFQ last month after the contract with 4F Sports, the company previously contracted to manage the fields, expired in December 2024. Proposals were accepted through Feb. 6.
The complex is owned by the City and is used by area youth baseball and softball teams. Responsibilities of the selected organization include:
- Organizing and managing leagues and tournaments.
- Routine maintenance and operational management of the complex.
- Providing concession services and ensuring the upkeep of restrooms and facilities.
- Collaborating with the City to reinvest in facility improvements.
Five proposals were submitted in response to the RFQ, which are currently being reviewed.
“We anticipate making a selection and requesting the City Council approve a contract very soon,” Bailey said. “Once a contract is approved, we will be ready to move forward with the spring season.”
More information will be announced as soon as it becomes available.
