Traffic limited to 1 direction during construction
The Price Road Rehabilitation Project is underway, prompting lane closures and detours, Director of Engineering Micah Siemers said recently. The project is located on Price Road between U.S. Highway 75 and the roundabout at Silver Lake Road.
Contract crews with Grade Line Construction are working from the west end of the project, in the eastbound lane.
“The eastbound direction of traffic is closed between the roundabout and one half mile east of Silver Lake Road,” Siemers said.
He said crews will work on one lane for a half mile at a time, moving from west to east and then switching over to the westbound lane and work back from east to west.
Eastbound traffic from Silver Lake Road will be detoured to Stonewall Drive, Nowata Road or Rice Creek Road to access Highway 75.
Residents in Starview Estates and Burlingame Ridge will have to access to their property from the east for this phase of the project.
