City Manager Mike Bailey presented the “State of the City” address during a public forum hosted by the Bartlesville Area Chamber of Commerce Forum on Tuesday. “We are very fortunate in Bartlesville to have the community we have,” Bailey said. “Our citizens are engaged and interested in their City government, and the team we have in place is not only dedicated to public service but highly capable of delivering those services to the community.” Bailey said increases in sales tax revenue, while beginning to narrow, remain consistent, and that revenue generated by utility capital fees will fund planned water and wastewater upgrades to meet State and Federal standards going into the future.
