Trash routes amended due to Labor Day

Aug 28, 2018

Most City of Bartlesville offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 3, in recognition of Labor Day. Monday trash routes will be changed to Wednesday next week to accommodate the closings.

“Residents who normally have their trash picked up on Mondays will be serviced on Wednesday next week due to the Labor Day holiday,” said Keith Henry, Public Works director. “Monday customers will need to put their trash out no later than 6 a.m. on Wednesday for their trash to be collected next week.”

Police and fire services will continue as normally scheduled, with no disruption. City offices will re-open as normally scheduled on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

The City Council meeting normally scheduled for Monday will be held on Tuesday. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave. Council meetings, which are televised on Cable One’s Channel 56, are open to the public.
