City of Bartlesville offices will be closed, and trash routes and recycling center hours will be amended to accommodate the upcoming holidays, Public Works Director Keith Henry said this week.
“Sanitation (crews) will be working on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, so trash routes on those days will not be affected by the holidays,” Henry said. “The recycling center will be open but will close at noon on those days.”
There will be no trash collection and the recycling center will be closed on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2019. Collection for Tuesday routes will be changed to Wednesday for both weeks, Henry said.
“Customers with Tuesday routes will need to put their trash out no later than 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, for collection the week of Christmas, and on Wednesday, Jan. 2, for New Year’s week,” he said.
Police and fire services will continue as normally scheduled, with no interruption, throughout the holidays.
City offices will re-open as normally scheduled on Dec. 26.
