Public hearing for proposed Eastland TIF set for tonight

The second of two public hearings for the proposed Eastland Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District will be held during a City Council meeting set to begin shortly after 7 p.m. tonight (June 5) at City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave.

The multi-jurisdictional TIF Review Committee voted April 24 to recommend approval of the Eastland TIF District to the City Council, which could consider approval of the measure following the last of the two public hearings, set for tonight.

The public is invited to attend the hearing/meetings tonight at City Hall. The City Council meeting will begin following brief meetings of the Bartlesville Education Authority and the Bartlesville Municipal Authority. Meetings start at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, located on the first floor of City Hall.
