The City of Bartlesville-owned Sooner Swimming Pool is closed today after lightning struck the pool’s pump during an overnight storm on Tuesday.
“We have ordered the new pump and it is being overnighted to us. It should be here tomorrow, so hopefully we will have the pool back up and running sometime tomorrow,” Public Works Director Keith Henry said Wednesday.
