The former Long John Silver’s building, located at 600 S.E. Washington Blvd., has been demolished to make way for a new Seven Brew Coffee Shop.

When is the City Council election?
The City Council election is the same day as the general election, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.
When is early voting for the Nov. 5 election?
According to the Washington County Election Board, in-person early voting will be available at the WCEB office on the following dates and times:
- 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30
- 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31
- 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1
- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Also, the deadline to request an absentee ballot is 5 p.m. on Oct. 21.
Can I still register to vote in the upcoming election?
The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 5 election is Oct. 11, according to the Washington County Election Board.

The WCEB offices are located on the fourth floor of City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave.
