Expect lane closures around Swan Drive and Rolling Meadows as City of Bartlesville crews continue to relocate water lines in the area.
Water Utilities Director Terry Lauritsen said this week the work is a precursor for drainage and pavement projects that will done later at the location.
“We are relocating the water line in the area to accommodate the drainage and pavement projects planned for this area,” Lauritsen told the City Council on July 18.
Lauritsen said Oklahoma Natural Gas will relocate gas lines prior to the projects as well.
The water line work should conclude this week and gas line work is set to start this summer, Lauritsen said.
Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes and to avoid the area when possible.
