City offices closed Monday; holiday trash schedule in place

Monday trash routes set for Wednesday next week

City of Bartlesville offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 5, in honor of Labor Day. Trash collection for Monday routes is set for Wednesday, Sept. 7, for next week only.

“Residents who normally have their trash picked up on Mondays will be serviced on Wednesday this week due to the holiday,” said Keith Henry, Public Works director. “Monday customers will need to put their trash out no later than 6 a.m. on Wednesday for their trash to be collected next week.”

Police and fire services will continue as normally scheduled, with no interruptions.

City offices will re-open as normally scheduled on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

The City Council meeting regularly scheduled for Monday will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 6. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave.
