Water Utilities Director Terry Lauritsen said work started today to replace a water line on 11th Street between Cherokee Avenue and Shawnee Avenue, and on Dewey Avenue between Ninth Street and 11th Street.

“The work will take place over the next two to three months,” Lauritsen said.

Motorists should expect limited access in the area, with lane closures necessary intermittently throughout the project, Lauritsen said.
