Bartlesville Police Department officers are seeking information in connection with a drive-by shooting that resulted in one bullet penetrating a room where a small child was sleeping, BPD Capt. Jay Hastings said this week.
The incident occurred around 10:34 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1800 block of SW Armstrong Ave.
Police say a home and two cars were struck by bullets during the incident.
“Luckily, no one in the home (or area) was injured during the incident,” Hastings said.
Officers determined approximately six or seven shots were fired, based on evidence collected at the scene, Hastings said.
“Two cars and one house were struck by bullets and received damage,” he said.
Police have located witnesses who observed a gold or tan SUV drive by the house with its lights out, traveling northbound while someone was firing the shots.
Anyone with information concerning the incident is urged to call the BPD Detective Division at 918-338-4015 or Crime Stoppers at 918-336-2583 or 800-222-8477, or leave tips online at https://www.bcrimestoppers.com/.
