City launches housing survey to guide future development

Jan 29, 2026

The City of Bartlesville has initiated the development of a comprehensive Housing Plan aimed at establishing a shared community vision for housing and a clear, actionable path to achieve it. The Housing Plan, which is the implementation phase of the Housing Study completed in 2024, will help the community better understand local housing needs as well as the barriers that affect housing production and preservation.

As part of this effort, the City is conducting a survey designed to gather insight into opportunities for coordination and partnership among organizations that support residents’ housing stability and overall well‑being.

The survey is open to all community members, with a particular focus on stakeholders who have direct experience in housing development, redevelopment, financing, housing services, or services that support individuals with housing needs.

This survey is centered on how housing projects move forward in Bartlesville. It does not address zoning code specifics, as a separate community survey was recently completed as part of the ongoing Land Development Regulations (LDR) update.

Feedback collected through this survey will play a critical role in shaping housing strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement, and establishing implementation priorities for the Housing Plan.
