The City of Bartlesville has partnered with the George Miksch Sutton Avian Research Center to update and install new interpretive nature trail signs along Pathfinder Parkway.
Originally installed nearly 30 years ago, the current signage has served generations of trail users. The new signage will feature high-quality wildlife photography and educational content highlighting Oklahoma’s native species. This enhancement will provide residents and visitors with an enriched experience, fostering a deeper connection to the natural environment.
“Pathfinder Parkway is one of Bartlesville’s most valued community assets, offering miles of scenic trails for walking, running and biking,” said Community Development Director Larry Curtis. “The updated signage reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to improving public spaces and promoting environmental stewardship.”
The Sutton Center is currently accepting sponsorships for the new trail signage. All sponsorships are tax-deductible and directly support the Sutton Center’s work. Sponsorships are due by Dec. 30.
“The City of Bartlesville extends its gratitude to the Sutton Center for its expertise and dedication to wildlife conservation, research and education,” said Curtis. “Together, we look forward to unveiling these improvements for the benefit of the community.”
