The ConocoPhillips air shuttle service has returned to the Bartlesville Municipal Airport after being discontinued more than three years ago.

“The reinstated ConocoPhillips shuttle had the first official shuttle flight into Bartlesville on July 15 and will be flying in and out of Bartlesville twice weekly,” said Airport Director Mike Richardson. “We welcome the return of the COP shuttle to Bartlesville as it increases jet fuel sales and service revenue and increases the airport’s total aircraft operations numbers.”

Beginning with its inaugural flight earlier this month, ConocoPhillips now operates the air shuttle for employees between five company locations in the U.S. Lower 48. In addition to Bartlesville, locations include Houston, Texas; Midland, Texas; Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Williston, North Dakota.

The shuttle is an Embraer ERJ145XR, similar to regional jets operated by major carriers, and is based at the ConocoPhillips Global Aviation hangar in Houston.

The shuttle service had previously been discontinued in March 2021, a few months before ConocoPhillips ended its airport lease-operating agreement and returned management of the facility back to the City of Bartlesville.
