Water Distribution crews began testing and flushing fire hydrants in the following zones last week. Flushing and testing will continue until all zones are complete.
Zone 1 — Oak Park Addition
Zone 2 — Will Rogers Street south to Hensley Boulevard, from the railroad tracks west to Highway 123.
Zone 6 — 11th Street south to Sand Creek, from the Caney River west to the railroad tracks.
Zone 8 — Kenwood south to Nowata Road, from the Caney River east to Washington Boulevard.
Flushing will occur from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday until the areas are complete. Discoloration of water can occur during the testing and flushing process. Please use caution when laundering clothes.
