The City of Bartlesville is updating the zoning and subdivision regulations that govern land use and development within city limits. A new project website is now available with an interactive online map designed to gather public input on the city’s strengths and areas for improvement.
The interactive map, along with instructions for use, is available on the project website.
Residents are also invited to complete an online survey to provide additional feedback.
The zoning and subdivision regulations guide how land is developed and used throughout Bartlesville. The update will include a rewrite of land development regulations, sign regulations and standards such as parking, street design and landscaping. The project also aims to simplify development procedures to ensure clearer and more efficient processes.
This initiative is informed by community input from residents, code users and community stakeholders, the policies identified in the Bartlesville Endeavor 2045 Comprehensive Plan, and industry best practices. Updating the regulations is one of the Comprehensive Plan’s primary recommendations and is considered critical to achieving the community’s long-term vision.
