Operation Clean House organizers are gearing up for this year’s countywide cleanup event and are seeking volunteers to help make it a success. The free disposal day will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 18, offering Washington County residents a safe and responsible way to get rid of hazardous household and automotive materials.
Each year, Operation Clean House prevents more than 10,000 pounds of hazardous waste from entering the local environment. Volunteers play a vital role in keeping the event running smoothly and ensuring these materials are handled safely. Those interested in helping can sign up by completing the volunteer survey.
