The construction that was happening on the north side of Oak Park seems to be at a standstill. I am not quite sure if this is still Bartlesville, but I thought I had heard something about it being annexed out to Bartlesville.

The housing addition project you’re referring to is in the city limits. However, some of the roads in that location were never updated to City of Bartlesville standards so that has to be done in conjunction with the project, along with improvements to the storm sewer, water lines and sanitary sewer.

According to the City Engineering Department, the company doing the project had some funding issues during the street portion of the project but is expected to resume work soon.

What’s going on with Dutch Brothers Coffee?

Community Development Department just recently received plans for Dutch Brothers Coffee to construct a new building in place of the old one at 1310 S.E. Washington Blvd., between the new Fastrack Tire and Whataburger.
