Mission statement

Assure that the City has an efficient sanitary sewer system and is in compliance with regulations established by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ).

Objective

The SSIOC works with the City Engineer and staff to identify existing problems, establish priority solutions and recommend phased action plans and bond issues to accomplish results in the most cost-effective manner.

Members

There are seven voting members on the SSIOC including one voting City Council Representative.  The non-voting City Staff advisor is the Director of Water Utilities.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 4 p.m. in the City Center Council Conference Room.
