FREE SMOKE ALARMS
The Bartlesville Fire Department, in cooperation with the Bartlesville Professional Fire Fighters Association, IAFF Local 200, will provide smoke alarms to residents of Bartlesville, when available, free of charge under the following circumstances:
- A person cannot afford the purchase price of the alarm
- A person cannot install the alarm or afford to hire someone to install the alarm
- A person is a home owner and not a renter (landlords are required by City ordinance to provide a smoke detector/alarm in rental units).

HOW TO APPLY
After the receipt of the application, a firefighter will call in a couple of weeks to arrange a time to install the smoke alarm.
If someone you know — a family member, friend or neighbor — does not have at least one smoke arlam in the home and cannot afford the purchase price of one, complete a smoke arlam application and bring the completed application to any Bartlesville fire station, email to Fire Marshal Brady Watson at abwatson@cityofbartlesville.org or mail to:
