OFFICER EMPLOYMENT

The starting hourly rate of pay is $26.29 an hour for a new recruit or $26.94 for CLEET certified officers. The Bartlesville Police Department offers education incentive, sign on bonus for CLEET certified Officers ($3,000 at hire, $3,000 at one year), Lateral Entry Program up to step 5 ($29.74/$61,859.20) for state certified officers, annual equipment allowance, and longevity pay, along with health, dental, vision insurance (including the Zero Card).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Be a citizen of the United States
    • 21-45 years of age
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Good moral character
    • Suitable emotional stability

911 EMERGENCY DISPATCHER

Police dispatch is a 24/7 operation and requires shift work including nights, evening, weekends, holidays which are assigned by seniority. Dispatcher pay starts at $18.79 per hour.
