The Bartlesville Police Reserve offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community. As a Reserve Officer, you’ll support the Bartlesville Police Department in vital public safety operations — all while gaining valuable experience and serving with pride.

What Is the Police Reserve?

The Bartlesville Police Reserve is a volunteer law enforcement unit managed by the Bartlesville Police Department. Reserve Officers assist with a variety of duties, including:

• Supporting crowd control and public safety at special events
• Assisting with secure transports
• Conducting traffic stops for safety violations
• Providing backup or extra patrol when additional staffing is needed

Though unpaid, Reserve Officers are held to the same professional standards as full-time officers and play a critical role in maintaining public safety.

What You’ll Receive

• Uniforms and gear provided by the department
• No-cost training, including annual qualifications
• Ongoing support through in-service training and professional development

Commitment & Requirements

Applicants must meet the same selection criteria as full-time officers.
