I do not recall receiving my free coupon for the dump. Would it be possible to get one?
If you did not receive or have lost your coupon for a free trip to Osage Landfill, you can pick one up at the cashier’s window on the first floor at City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave. Their hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
One coupon is issued per City of Bartlesville utility customer, which should have been included in your monthly utility bill in January or February. The coupons expire each year on Dec. 31. The clean-up program is intended to help Bartlesville residents dispose of items typically too large or cumbersome for their weekly trash pick-up. This includes things like furniture, appliances (under certain conditions) and other items they can’t put in your regular trash. It does not include things like complete structures, including roofs, trees and vehicles, which have all been tried (unsuccessfully) in the past. Is there going to be a Vietnamese restaurant in the old Sam’s Southern Eatery on Madison?
While the Community Development Department has issued a plumbing permit for sewer improvements for that facility, the department has not been notified of what, if any, business will be located there. There are no other permits on file for that location, and a business license has not been requested or issued. This doesn’t mean there won’t be a new restaurant at this location, but it does mean the City has not received any information (yet) to indicate there will be.
Is something going in next to Discount Tire?
Tidal Wave Auto Spa has submitted plans for that location within the Silver Lake Village complex, located on Adams Boulevard east of Silver Lake Road. The plans are currently in the review process.
